ABOUT ME

I tuned my first pair of skis at the age of 14.  These Goodwill skis were tuned with dad’s file and mom’s iron for the wax.  This would lead me down the rabbit hole of the never-ending learning process that is ski tuning and boot fitting.  From my first professional experience in the ski world to ski shop lead at Hillcrest, Mountain Shop, and Next Adventure over 20 years making ski tuning and boot fitting my passion as well as my profession.

This journey has led me to not only be a boot tester for Ski and Skiing Magazine sponsored by Masterfit for 5 years, but also work some of the most competent and successful industrial professionals and athletes.  From working with anywhere from beginners to Olympic medalists in both skiing and snowboarding, the experience has been fun and rewarding.
